The 1943 Buick Roadmaster was produced during wartime and therefore, had limited availability due to rationing of materials. The Roadmaster was the top-of-the-line luxury car offered by Buick and was known for its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and sleek design. It was powered by a 5.2-liter inline eight-cylinder engine, which produced 165 horsepower and was mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Due to the war effort, it was only available in a limited number of exterior paint colors and had limited options. The 1943 model year was the last year of production for the Roadmaster until 1946, as all automobile production was halted for the duration of World War II.
